Hey, it's nice to meet you,
I'm Lyndi McMullen.
Born and raised in California I encompass a laid-back vibe, in love with sunshine and have more energy than I know what to do with. I am rooted deep in my faith, I love Jesus, worship and getting my weekly reset at church with my family. I have been Married for 16 years and have two amazing kids. I spend a lot of my time in my car driving kids all over town for sports and activities, more of a Mom taxi if you will. The flexibility I have working for myself is a blessing. We have called Appleton Wisconsin our home for the past 15 years but decided we ultimately wanted to be closer to family and defrost a bit. We landed in the Chandler Arizona area and feel right at home. I am a go-getter, a dreamer, and am always learning new techniques to bring to my clients. I love to try new things, traveling and spending time with my three dogs. I see art in everything and love color theory. I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder in 2015 and I sometimes have to give my self a little more grace, slow down and laugh at myself. If you ever see me with Bells Palsy know I am okay, but this can be my normal. I am an overly optimistic human and see the silver linings in everything. This has helped me create beautiful pieces of art for my clients. Especially when I am doing corrective work. I love body modification/ tattoos/ art and diversity.
Everyone should feel like a babe! Confidence for me did not come until later in life. From a very young age I have always wanted people to feel good. I loved the way lipstick smelled, getting my hair curled or my nails painted. I could become anyone I wanted when I got dolled up, my self-esteem skyrocketed. Now being able to do that for a living to help others feel their best is a remarkable feeling. Sometimes my chair becomes a therapy session, I am a safe place for my clients. I knew I wanted more out of the industry and craved a deeper understanding of skin and how it all worked. I am completely beauty OBSESSED, love teaching, guiding and helping my clients understand the many ways I can help them on their beauty journey.
What started as a hobby, quickly turned into my dream gig
The obsession with the beauty and cosmetics industry has always been a part of me. After I graduated Highschool I went straight into Cosmetology school and became a hairdresser. My creativity and dedication with cosmetics landed me at the MAC Counter where I got a taste of cosmetics and servicing clients. I then climbed the ladder at Sephora for 6 years and worked my way into a staff and client Education managerial role. I knew I was meant for more and discovered the love and talent that was waiting for me in permanent Cosmetics. I continued my education, became a Tattoo Artist and Aesthetician. I have fallen in love with the art of Permanent Cosmetics and the positive changes I have made throughout the past eight years as a Permanent Makeup Artist. My extensive beauty background has given me the ability to grow in ways I never thought possible. I promise my clients I will always hold their hand through the process and give them top notch services. My first year as a spa owner even provided awards through community voting. I know I am exactly where I need to be.
